ooc permissions
backtagging: yes forever | threadhopping: yes for sure | canon puncturing: soft no
opt-outs: I can't think of anything that wouldn't have to be plotted ahead of time anyway, so no worries
ic permissions
hugging & kissing: You can attempt it, but if he sees you coming he will deftly evade.

flirting: Yes! Please make his day more confusing.

fighting: Yes! But he's a vampire, so he's pretty strong. If it's a real gloves-off fight there's a potential for frenzy, in which he basically forgets how to not kill people, so planning that or chatting ooc as we go or something could be a good idea.

injury: Ha ha yes go for it, but if it's more than a slap/punch or cut I'd like to talk about it ooc first (because again, potential for frenzy).

killing: I'd like to discuss it first but tbh I will probably love it

telepathy & mind reading: Yes! He suffers from some form of psychosis and also prophecy, so depending on how your mind reading works, and on whether they're around at that moment, you might hear a jumble of voices as well as just his thoughts. There's a slim chance that one of them will be telling him he's having his mind read. Hit me up wherever if you'd like more details.

telling he's a vampire: I'm adding this because in Wonderland he's pretending to be human for as long as possible (my money's on this being successful for ten whole minutes). To normal human senses he does a good impression of a mortal. To characters with stronger or different senses, that may not be the case! Smell and temperature are the biggest physical tells I can think of. There's a list here if you want to know what your character might pick up on (and things like mind-reading would also be sort of a dead giveaway).

warnings: His tags will sometimes discuss/depict things like hallucinations, depression, paranoia, and sometimes violence.

Permissions meme is from here!

2.
I gave a cry of anguish at this terrible curse
and tore at my flesh.
I wept blood.
I caught the tears in a cup
and drank them.

Got a couple queries for you all. Sorry this is so long.

Alistair Grout has some level of clairvoyance. In brief, disembodied voices tell him things about the people around him. Canon is vague on exactly how often they're right; I'm playing them as sometimes cryptic, sometimes liars, and sometimes just correct. One canon fact is that they're inconsistent, so he won't necessarily understand or believe them.

With that in mind:

1. Can Grout hear accurate things about your character's:
→ thoughts, feelings, opinion on him, intentions towards him, or anything else of that nature?
→ past, whether in canon or in Wonderland?
→ (possible) future(s) in canon, or lack therof?

2. (Optional) Is there anything you'd like him to hear because it could be dramatic /fun/awful?
→ Or anything you really don't want him to hear?

He also has a couple of vampire superpowers, so:

3. Can he successfully view your character's aura? Might it ping as anything other than human?

This is the standard aura deal: colours represent emotions, and can also identify certain creatures eg vampires and werewolves.

4. Can he use vampire mind control on your character?

These are simple one-word or one-sentence commands, requiring eye contact. He can't make someone directly harm themselves, and it's less effective or ineffective on other vampires. He also can't use this to affect memories or plant delusions (so he could make someone cluck, but couldn't make them think they're a chicken). It can also be resisted with very strong willpower (the whole reason it's less good on vampires is that they get to resist with both willpower and their undead bloodly strengthiness). For the person being dominated, they don't feel like they're acting against their will, but nothing's stopping them from noticing the weird coincidence where this person said 'jump' and they jumped. If you answer yes here I'll still hit you up for permission before he attempts any doozies or anything long-lasting.

5. Can he make himself invisible or disguised to your character?

Grout can vanish and walk around unseen, and this involves blotting himself out of people's perception like he's a walking Somebody Else's Problem field. He can also use the same technique to make his face appear different (whether that means a random face or another specific person's). Being a perception filter has advantages and disadvantages: it covers all senses, but instinct-driven animals can sometimes detect that something's wrong. As with all things, it can be pierced. Noticing Grout when he's invisible takes either superhuman willpower/perception, or some form of Multifandom Power Clash™, but it can be done. If your character has a way to see him then the invisibility/disguise might work only sometimes, dependant on a ~battle of wills~, or not work at all.

It's also possible to film him while he's invisible and then see him on the tape later on once his influence has ended, so enjoy that one, Marble Hornets kids.

Any of these powers comes with degrees of success or failure depending on chance and the victim's willpower + vampire pedigree. It's not an automatic full success every time, so if you want, it could work in one thread and not in another. If you want to know more the powers are here from 'Cloak of Shadows' through 'Vanish from the Mind's Eye', here under 'Aura Perception' or here under 'Command' and 'Mesmerise'.

And while I have your attention:

6. This seems as good a place as any to mention that Grout wouldn't mind having a ghoul around the mansion, though it's worth noting that being a Malkavian's ghoul doesn't do wonders for your mental health. He'd also love to have people round for dinner now and again. Are you bored of being a person with all their blood inside? Hello.

(Having your blood drunk doesn't mean you die or turn into a vampire. Not necessarily, anyway. Being bitten by a vampire is canonically erotic, but if you're uncomfortable with that or your character's a minor then lmk and we can tone it down [I'm not planning on getting graphic about bite-boners in any case]. Blood-drinking or ghoul-turning would definitely be something to discuss at the time, and as such this is an interest check rather than a 'hey can i ghoul you anytime ok thanks'.

Taking a ghoul in the mansion wouldn't be a casual thing, and he makes a selfish user of a domitor, so if it happens, I'd want to do it with ooc plotting and be up front that it wouldn't be a healthy dynamic.

Feel free to ignore this bit if you're unsure or uninterested!)

1. Can Grout hear accurate things about your character's:

He's pretty much generally immune to things like that. especially intentions, because there's no point being a god of misdirection otherwise. plus his past is a giant collection of really big secrets and spoilers, so I tend to go really easy on those.

Vaguely, though, he's a lot older than he looks, a lot younger than he looks, and his future is very short.

3. Can he successfully view your character's aura? Might it ping as nonhuman?

He's... definitely that. How non-human, he tends to be pretty open about. No point being a god if people don't know it, after all. But nothing really specific will usually come through. Might occasionally spike one emotion hard enough to be noticeable, but it'll probably be real clear when he does.

4. Can he use vampire mind control on your character?

nope there too, sorry. Awful lot of willpower, not even close to human.

5. Can he make himself invisible or disguised to your character?

Well, he has the supernatural perception and willpower down, but whether he really wants to apply it is another matter. Will roll with may notice something, depends how much reason he has to be paranoid at any given time.

6. Does your character have ambitions of being a snack or a cool vampire's servant?

Might possibly be interested for the thrill, but also generally very unlikely to volunteer in any ordinary situation and hates being not in control. Definitely not a thrall-y sort of person.

7. Any other notes?

genuinely canonly a god/frost giant, currently approximately nineteen. almost certainly doesn't smell human, either.

1. Can Grout hear accurate things about your character's:
→ thoughts, feelings, opinion on him, intentions towards him, etc?

Absolutely for Dipper, Georgia, and Kon they have no protection from such things. Spike, well, yes, but that's because he's likely to just make it clear with words and rude gestures. His mind can't be read. Vampire perks.

→ past, whether in canon or in Wonderland? Same as above.

→ (possible) future(s) in canon? Same as above with a caveat of talk to me if you want to do Georgia cause that gets complicated.

2. Is there anything you'd like him to hear because it could be real dramatic/fun/awful? Or anything you really don't want him to hear? Well, Georgia is definitely sleeping with her adopted twin brother. That's some drama for you. Nothing is really off limits but check with me if you think something might be extra drama-y.

3. Can he successfully view your character's aura? Might it ping as nonhuman? Yes all auras can be read, and Spike and Kon will read as non human. I mean neither tries especially hard to hide it.

4. Can he use vampire mind control on your character? HM no on Spike, everyone else..... let's discuss it if it comes up. Kon is a probably but Georgia and Dipper are very strong willed.

5. Can he make himself invisible or disguised to your character? HMMM. Probably. Spike he might have trouble with because again, vampire, mind powers don't work well on him. Dipper has a will of solid titanium and enough paranoia that whether he can see through the invisibility or not, he'll certainly be like !!! SOMETHING IS WRONG WHY DO I NOT WANT TO LOOK AT THAT GUY SO HARD. George it will probably work on. Will power through the roof, but zero concept of the supernatural and a tendency to believe her eyes. Kon has enough super senses that it might be.... interesting. His willpower's definitely not SUPER high but man he will hear your heart beat and shit. SO I GUESS WE WILL SEE?? Sorry this isn't a helpful answer. Probably in most cases I'll say whatever's most narratively interesting when the situation arises.

6. Does your character have ambitions of being a snack or a cool vampire's servant? For now no, but if it comes up we should converse. Also Kon is invulnerable so it would be funny to try and bite him.

7. Any other notes? Dipper is a baby teen be gentle.

FOR PHILIP [personal profile] radiopalkiller

1. Can Grout hear accurate things about your character's stuff?
Yes!

2. Is there anything you'd like him to hear because it could be real dramatic/fun/awful? Or anything you really don't want him to hear?
Nope! You know plenty about Philip in and out of Wonderland, so anything fun you wanna dig into is game.

3. Can he successfully view your character's aura? Might it ping as nonhuman?
Yes and yes. In Philip's case I wanna say made just a shade short of human? And idk, if you want to incorporate his being super dead into aura colours, then feel free!

4. Can he use vampire mind control on your character?
Sure! His willpower is decent, so once he figures out what's going on he might put some work towards resisting, but at the very least until then you're good to go.

5. Can he make himself invisible or disguised to your character?
Visually, yes! If you want to give him a fun annoyance then we could say that Philip's weird telepathy/alien radar stuff manages to sense/locate/identify him regardless, but that's up to you.

6. Does your character have ambitions of being a snack or a cool vampire's servant?
We can definitely talk snack time. I'm always OOC game for unwilling blood donorship, and I guess I would not completely rule out him agreeing IC, but that's VERY dependent on circumstances, so we can hash that out whenever we get to it.

7. Any other notes? FUN ALIEN STUFF of which you know p much everything already

FOR CULLEN [personal profile] morework

1. Can Grout hear accurate things about your character's stuff?
Yes!

2. Is there anything you'd like him to hear because it could be real dramatic/fun/awful? Or anything you really don't want him to hear?
Actually! Al can hear anything he likes, but I'm gonna say let's not bring up anything coherent about Cullen's canon future to him. My reason for that is "idk I don't wanna". Anything else though, you can always hit me up and we can find something fun for the voices to say if you like.

3. Can he successfully view your character's aura? Might it ping as nonhuman?
Yes. No.

4. Can he use vampire mind control on your character?
Mostly no. Cullen has been rigorously trained in the art of being a no fun allowed paladin character, and what is more fun than mind control? SO! While he might initially respond to a very plain suggestion and/or one that takes him by surprise, once he's warned he'll dig his heels in and resist.

5. Can he make himself invisible or disguised to your character?
Similar to the above, but this sounds like it might have slightly better chances of success. So, hm. We'll say it depends on Cullen's state of mind that day, and how intently he expects a deception of that sort. (aka. let's hash it out if/when it comes up)

6. Does your character have ambitions of being a snack or a cool vampire's servant?
Tragically not, no.

7. Any other notes? Here is his character info, with some more info on templar stuff.

Sure!

→ past, whether in canon or in Wonderland? Sure!

→ (possible) future(s) in canon? Not yet, until we've talked it over. But there's a good chance of that happening in the future as Mikan learns about what happened to Nanami/ her world.

2. Is there anything you'd like him to hear because it could be real dramatic/fun/awful? Or anything you really don't want him to hear? Aside from the future stuff, it's all fine.

3. Can he successfully view your character's aura? Might it ping as nonhuman? He can, but she's your average human.

4. Can he use vampire mind control on your character? Sure!

5. Can he make himself invisible or disguised to your character? Sure!

6. Does your character have ambitions of being a snack or a cool vampire's servant? Technically no, but she'd probably do almost anything he asked of her without being a servant. She aims to please.

7. Any other notes? Once she knows he's a vampire, she'll want to know about his biology/how his body works, so she can study about vampires and hopefully help take care of him if he's injured/ill.

1. Can Grout hear accurate things about your character's:
→ thoughts, feelings, opinion on him, intentions towards him, etc?
Absolutely, though he probably doesn't need to even root around for those thoughts. Dustin's a pretty open book, facial expression wise.

→ past, whether in canon or in Wonderland? Absolutely!

→ (possible) future(s) in canon? Season 2 isn't out but I'm game.

2. Is there anything you'd like him to hear because it could be real dramatic/fun/awful? Or anything you really don't want him to hear? Grout is free to get glimpses of the Demogorgon in some way shape or form!

3. Can he successfully view your character's aura? Might it ping as nonhuman? 100% human!

4. Can he use vampire mind control on your character? Yeah but you could honestly just bribe him with videogames or star wars merchandise and get the same result..

5. Can he make himself invisible or disguised to your character? Sure.

6. Does your character have ambitions of being a snack or a cool vampire's servant? Nah man, that can go to someone else.

[personal profile] directed 2017-02-13 11:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Character(s) and journal(s): Cami O'Connell ([personal profile] therapize) and Rip Hunter ([personal profile] directed)

1. Can Grout hear accurate things about your character's:
→ thoughts, feelings, opinion on him, intentions towards him, etc?
Good for both!

→ past, whether in canon or in Wonderland? Good for both!

→ (possible) future(s) in canon? Better for Cami, who already knows a ton about her future anyway, including the fact that she dies. In Rip's case you're good, although this is a topic he avoids since he's a time traveler and knowing about the future is bad.

2. Is there anything you'd like him to hear because it could be real dramatic/fun/awful? Or anything you really don't want him to hear? So Cami's going to 1) be turned into a vampire herself and 2) die in her future, and I'm good with him hearing both. Rip, on the other hand, is a time traveler, which means his timeline consists of moments from all sorts of different time periods, currently known to range from Ramses-era Egypt to 2166 (and likely further into the future). Just in case you wanted those random voices to make even less sense than normal.

3. Can he successfully view your character's aura? Might it ping as nonhuman? He can, and they are both very human.

4. Can he use vampire mind control on your character? AHA HA HA HA so Cami is both 1) strong-willed and 2) a prior victim of her world’s version of vampire mind control. Grout is free to try, but if Cami catches him doing it—or if he somehow succeeds—she is prone to maybe punching him in the face or yelling at him.

Like Cami, Rip has gone through the joyful experience of finding out he was being purposely manipulated, although in his case it was by the organization he swore an oath to serve. They also killed his family, bonus. So again, Rip would be pissed to discover this happening, and would definitely attempt to do something about it. This something might involve shooting at Grout with a laser gun. Oh, and he’s also got a pretty strong stubborn streak, though he's in general more pragmatic, so different brand of stubbornness than Cami's.

5. Can he make himself invisible or disguised to your character? Sure thing! Creeper.

6. Does your character have ambitions of being a snack or a cool vampire's servant? Snacking is a potential yes for both, although both come with potential consequences: Cami is really good at figuring out when she's being used/manipulated, and Rip has a laser gun. Pew pew. Going to say no on the servant bit though; while this would normally be very much my jam, see the notes below for Cami, and Rip has a canon-based brainwashing arc I'm going to be toying with later on. :)

7. Any other notes? So aside from the above, Cami specifically has a bonus feature by way of Klaus Mikaelson. He is her lover, and also an Original vampire-werewolf hybrid and thus one of the most powerful creatures in her world because TVD said so. He’s a little bit protective of Cami, and known for brutally taking out his wrath on his enemies for doing bad things. TL;DR: when I said consequences I really, really meant it. However, that is not a hard no on anything! Just something to be aware of, since I would need to get Klaus' player involved in anything that was potentially harmful to Cami.

Yep.

→ (possible) future(s) in canon? ABSOLUTELY.

2. Is there anything you'd like him to hear because it could be real dramatic/fun/awful? Or anything you really don't want him to hear?

Oh boy... Well, he murdered a man he once considered to be his good friend, he drove his former lover to suicide after cruelly rejecting her, he's a manipulative jerk who cares mostly for himself... And did I mention he has a magic painting at home that kept him young and may or may not have become his Mirror?

3. Can he successfully view your character's aura? Might it ping as nonhuman? Yeah, but while he's technically mortal, he may have sold his soul for eternal youth.

4. Can he use vampire mind control on your character? Yep.

5. Can he make himself invisible or disguised to your character? Yep.

6. Does your character have ambitions of being a snack or a cool vampire's servant? He could be persuaded to be a snack, but not a ghoul.

7. Any other notes?

Remember that one book by Oscar Wilde about the Dandy with the aging portrait? This is the same dandy from the book. Also, he was turned into a vampire during an event once, but it was the 1920's Dracula type. He knows what it's like to want to drink blood and hide from sunlight.

1. Can Grout hear accurate things about your character's:
I’m going to go with no for now (I can come up with what he'll receive instead during said tag) but ACTUALLY I have a Proposition for YOU~
If you aren’t canon familiar, Bill is an incorporeal demon of the Mind. As someone on a different plane of existence, Bill isn’t actually in front of anyone but the more you believe in him the easier it is to see/hear the guy as if he is really there. People have drawn pictures of him and had a conversation with that piece of paper simply because both parties believed the connection was there. Those closer to insanity have also been able to see/hear him a little clearer. Given Grout’s mental stability: Would you like Bill to occasionally infiltrate Grout’s array of voices?
Grout wouldn’t have to fall for it- Bill has a rather unique voice- I just think it would be an amusing way to jumpstart threads here and there if Bill hops into his little inner chorus for humor’s sake, if that is something that would pique your interest?

3. Can he successfully view your character's aura? Might it ping as nonhuman?
Go for it! Bill between events does not have a body and hangs out inside the network or people’s dreams, but occasionally he IS humanized so Grout would be more than able to sense his true self within the guise. Sometimes Bill makes deals to steal other people’s bodies, if you would like, Grout is more than welcome to recognize when Bill possesses someone as well!

4. Can he use vampire mind control on your character?
I’ll leave it up to the scenario. Chances are Bill will break out of it fairly quick but it would be still be amusing to attempt.

5. Can he make himself invisible or disguised to your character?
Bill is probably too perceptive for that, seeing things no one else can is a specialty; but I can have him turn a blind eye if you need me to for a plot’s sake.

6. Does your character have ambitions of being a snack or a cool vampire's servant?
Servitude is a no go but depending on how weak he is when occasionally humanized you might get away with taking a bite of him. If it comes up, feel free to try!

7. Any other notes?
Bill, by his chaotic nature, is very inconsistent. Wonderland doesn’t always nerf him the same way, each time he gets a physical form, so think of these answers as the probability for success more than outright yes or no’s. I am still a-okay with you attempting anything regardless!

→ past, whether in canon or in Wonderland?
Go for it! Though again, Tim will be incredibly displeased with that.

→ (possible) future(s) in canon?
He has no future, other than apparently not killing himself :)

2. Is there anything you'd like him to hear because it could be real dramatic/fun/awful? Or anything you really don't want him to hear?
POKE HIS OPERATOR BOO-BOOS. DO IT.

3. Can he successfully view your character's aura? Might it ping as nonhuman?
If you like! The Masked Man is more or less a secondary consciousness piggybacking on Tim's brain, so he is free to perceive their presence, though they're usually dormant unless Tim's relapsed or seized. I gave em an info post over here since some of it's pure theory/speculation/headcanon and consistency is good

4. Can he use vampire mind control on your character?
Go for it, though let's hash it out beforehand since I'm pretty sure we'll be reduced to roasting marshmallows over the inferno that'll follow

5. Can he make himself invisible or disguised to your character?
Go for it my guy

6. Does your character have ambitions of being a snack or a cool vampire's servant?
lol no. though the masked man might??? idk

7. Any other notes?
I know you're canon familiar with Marble Hornets so...yeah, the Operator's assorted Business is bad shit that so far only exists in Tim's head, but he's incredibly paranoid that it will spread to other people through his influence.

1. Can Grout hear accurate things about your character's:
→ thoughts, feelings, opinion on him, intentions towards him, etc?
- Yes, absolutely. Henry wouldn't have any intentions beyond what a 14-15 year old kid he believes in fairy tales would be capable of, anyway.

→ past, whether in canon or in Wonderland? - Yes.

→ (possible) future(s) in canon? - Yep!

2. Is there anything you'd like him to hear because it could be real dramatic/fun/awful? 3. Can he successfully view your character's aura? Might it ping as nonhuman? Sure thing, and no, he's totally human.

4. Can he use vampire mind control on your character? With some talking it out first!

5. Can he make himself invisible or disguised to your character? - If neeed, su re.

6. Are you interested in your character becoming a snack or a cool vampire's servant? - No because Regina would literally light Wonderland on fire.

Sure! The bot tries his best to keep his actual emotional state covered, so have fun with that!

→ past, whether in canon or in Wonderland?

Yes up to a point. He keeps his secret of having previously been a ghost under wraps, so that information being revealed casually can cause him a lot of problems, so that being said, anything about him being a robotic star in the Underground and being built is ok, but his true origins, for now, are not.

I MEAN, IF YOU WANT GROUT TO HEAR AN AD FOR MTT-BRAND METTATON FLAVORED SODA, GO RIGHT AHEAD.... (his future is the Post-Pacifist ending, if you know what that is, so he was on his way to the stardom he dreamed of when he got roped into Wonderland.) (On that note however, feel free to also hear about his future fates in all of the neutral endings for Undertale and No Mercy- special points for the King Mettaton ending ;D))

2. Is there anything you'd like him to hear because it could be real dramatic/fun/awful? Or anything you really don't want him to hear?

As mentioned in the previous answer, no to the ghost thing, I'd love for him to hear about Mettaton's celebrity shenanigans and anything to do with the King Mettaton ending. :3 (if these words make no sense to you, I'll fill you in, don't fret.)

3. Can he successfully view your character's aura? Might it ping as nonhuman?

Sure! Mettaton is a robot and a Monster, so it will ping as nonhuman and very magical in nature. You get to decide how this would translate for Grout in WoD lore.

4. Can he use vampire mind control on your character?

I'm gonna say no for now because this bot is rambunctious and very headstrong, so he'd fight it very hard unconsciously thanks to magic and pure force of personality, but if we ever come up with a plot of some kind, we can work with that!

5. Can he make himself invisible or disguised to your character?

Absolutely!

6. Are you interested in your character becoming a snack or a cool vampire's servant?

My boy is made of metal, so while neither of these could really happen, I don't think Grout would be that interested in doing this in the first place.

7. Any other notes?

HELLO HELLO I AM EXCITED FOR SHENANIGANS but uh, tl;dr, magical robot that is a huge diva and a flirt so have fun with that!

Character(s) and journal(s):

1. Can Grout hear accurate things about your character's:
for Bruce Wayne, sure, for Rebekah Mikaelson, not so much, as an Original Vampire in her canon she'd be immune

→ past, whether in canon or in Wonderland? see above

→ (possible) future(s) in canon? again, see above

2. Is there anything you'd like him to hear because it could be real dramatic/fun/awful? Or anything you really don't want him to hear? For now, if it came up, I'd rather not him hear anything about Bruce being Batman though that could be fun to play with eventually.

3. Can he successfully view your character's aura? Might it ping as nonhuman? Sure, he can tell Rebekah is a vampire, and a powerful one if he wants. Bruce is just a human.

4. Can he use vampire mind control on your character? No for Rebekah, maybe for Bruce, I'd want to discuss it first -- in the comics he's had enough training and fortitude to fight it before

5. Can he make himself invisible or disguised to your character? sure

6. Are you interested in your character becoming a snack or a cool vampire's servant? no to the servant, if he tried to feed on Rebekah she would fight back and if he fed on Bruce he would probably research how to kill him so maybe not the best idea

7. Any other notes? Rebekah is an Original in her canon which means she can use compulsion against other vampires, so she might be able to on him if it came up? Of course, if you didn't want her to be able to, we could go with that too.

Character and journal: Emiel Regis [[personal profile] mandrakes]

1. Can Grout hear accurate things about your character's:
→ thoughts, feelings, opinion on him, intentions towards him, etc?

Regis isn't immune to having his mind read, but he is also probably more powerful than Grout. I'd say yes, maybe with a little deliberate effort?

→ past, whether in canon or in Wonderland?
Sure sure, we can discuss that OOC.

→ (possible) future(s) in canon?
Since I take him from the end of his canon I couldn't tell you what happens in his future, unless Sapkowski writes more books featuring him post-games. So, it's not an outright no, I just can't tell you anything.

2. Is there anything you'd like him to hear because it could be real dramatic/fun/awful? Or anything you really don't want him to hear?
Something that sits a lot at the forefront of Regis' mind is the fact that he murdered another of his own kind, which.. is a big no. Grout is welcome to get some whisperings on that, though Regis doesn't regard it as a secret so much as something he just isn't terribly keen on discussing at length. He also has a constant feeling of discomfort about him, very akin to being in an uncomfortable social situation that you can't get out of - this is the sensation he feels around being separated from his own world (which isn't the one he came into Eway from).

3. Can he successfully view your character's aura? Might it ping as nonhuman?
He could, certainly, maybe when he's concentrating a bit more and isn't just looking for a meal ;) Regis would definitely ping up as nonhuman, though exactly what he is might need some working out.

4. Can he use vampire mind control on your character?
Itttttt probably won't work.

5. Can he make himself invisible or disguised to your character?
He can - Regis likely wouldn't sense him.

6. Are you interested in your character becoming a snack or a cool vampire's servant?
Nah :v

7. Any other notes?
As you already know (as does Grout...) Regis is another vampire. A very particular kind of vampire who just makes no sense when you try to apply classical vampire rules to him.

1. Can Grout hear accurate things about your character's:
→ thoughts, feelings, opinion on him, intentions towards him, etc?

Absolutely.

→ past, whether in canon or in Wonderland?
YEP. His whole past is in his app, but we can talk about it.

→ (possible) future(s) in canon?
Again, he's taken from the end of his canon, but we can probably extrapolate some things.

2. Is there anything you'd like him to hear because it could be real dramatic/fun/awful? Or anything you really don't want him to hear?
There's a whole lot that Grout could hear from him! He wouldn't know how to shield his thoughts if you told him he ought to. He has done a lot of terrible things in his life and feels bad for like 90% of them, especially that time he accidentally killed like 300 people with nuclear warheads.

The only one he definitely has no regrets about his that asshole Benny.

3. Can he successfully view your character's aura? Might it ping as nonhuman?
Yep! He's very much 100% human, though. Apart from the implants.

4. Can he use vampire mind control on your character?
Sure! Can't guarantee Dan won't shoot him when he comes out of it, though.

5. Can he make himself invisible or disguised to your character?
Yep.

6. Are you interested in your character becoming a snack or a cool vampire's servant?
Not really :v

7. Any other notes?
Not for this guy.

Character and journal: Nathaniel Howe [[personal profile] noble_son]

1. Can Grout hear accurate things about your character's:
→ thoughts, feelings, opinion on him, intentions towards him, etc?

Yep, definitely. Nathaniel's pretty much an open book.

→ past, whether in canon or in Wonderland?
Yeppers, all in his app!

→ (possible) future(s) in canon?
Another one from the end of his canon... but it can be extrapolated.

2. Is there anything you'd like him to hear because it could be real dramatic/fun/awful? Or anything you really don't want him to hear?
Nathaniel's major boogeyman is his father, who was a not-so-terrible person who turned into a terrible person and tortured/caused the deaths of hundreds of people. He fears turning into his father, and that is definitely something Grout could pick up on.

3. Can he successfully view your character's aura? Might it ping as nonhuman?
He can! And.. maybe? Nathaniel is a Grey Warden, which means he is human, but has undergone the Joining which means he has certain special talents and some nasty thing called the Taint floating about in him.

4. Can he use vampire mind control on your character?
Sure, though Nathaniel might resist better than most.

5. Can he make himself invisible or disguised to your character?
Yep.

6. Are you interested in your character becoming a snack or a cool vampire's servant?
Nope :v

7. Any other notes?
I think I got everything.

Character and journal: Anthony J. Crowley [[personal profile] saunteredvaguelydownwards]

1. Can Grout hear accurate things about your character's:
→ thoughts, feelings, opinion on him, intentions towards him, etc?

Very unlikely, unless Crowley is allowing it on purpose.

→ past, whether in canon or in Wonderland?
As above.

→ (possible) future(s) in canon?
And again xD

2. Is there anything you'd like him to hear because it could be real dramatic/fun/awful? Or anything you really don't want him to hear?
Nope not a thing. There's likely to be a certain hollowness about him because he's clearly just entirely unreadable by Grout.

3. Can he successfully view your character's aura? Might it ping as nonhuman?
Y e s and he would definitely ping as nonhuman. Crowley is a demon. A real real demon.

4. Can he use vampire mind control on your character?
He could try. It wouldn't work.

5. Can he make himself invisible or disguised to your character?
He can try... it might not work.

6. Are you interested in your character becoming a snack or a cool vampire's servant?
I don't even think this is possible.

7. Any other notes?
Nope :v
